It was a bit of anti-climax when the high court set the date after 4 hours of hearing to the submissions from both parties.
The High Court is to rule on Aug 21 whether the decision of the Sabah Yang Dipertua Negeri to dissolve the State Legislative Assembly on July 30 is justiciable.

The officials from the Election Commission will have to extend their stay then. They have scheduled press conference later in the day so they probably will delay the announcement of the dates for the election (if it happens of course).
